In 2026 she founded Colibrí Productions — a company built to develop, finance and produce independent film and theatre that engages audiences in the hope of making sense of the world. Politically engaged, emotionally grounded, and actively multicultural, Colibrí treats collaborators as genuine partners and holds stories sensitively and upliftingly. Drawing on a network spanning the UK, the Netherlands, New York and Latin America, the company is driven by a single conviction: that meaningful stories, told with honesty and ambition, can express something true about the human spirit.
“Colibrí” is a hummingbird, a bird of Colombia. A determined little thing, as is Nicole.
